About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting our products and services to customers in the assigned territory.

Job Summary

This is an outside sales position that requires developing new business, penetrating existing accounts, and minimizing lost business to achieve profitable sales growth and special objectives within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business opportunities and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth and special objectives.
  • Seek and qualify prospects following company account stratification goals.
  • Research customer business needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet their requirements.
  • Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers based on their business needs and goals.
  • Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales; share this information with customers as part of value-added services provided.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience, or equivalent, in a related field.
  • 1 year of outside foodservice sales experience is preferred.
  • Restaurant management or chef experience is also desirable.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (including no multiple DUIs within the last 2 years).
  • Current automobile insurance with liability limits of $100,000 each person and $300,000 each accident, and property damage of $100,000.
