Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

Reports To: Store Manager and/or General Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: As a key member of the Donut Holdings, Inc. team, the Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the success of our stores. This position is responsible for assisting the store manager in achieving operational and financial objectives, while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Training: Assist in recruiting, selecting, and training new team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles.
  • Operations Management: Assist the store manager in achieving operational objectives by contributing to strategic planning, preparing and completing action plans, and implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
  • Financial Management: Assist in forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions to ensure the store meets its financial objectives.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service by maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment, managing inventory, and addressing customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring that products are stored and displayed in a manner that meets company standards.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Assist in promoting the store by following marketing department guidelines, contacting local businesses to hold social events, and encouraging customer loyalty programs.
  • Employee Development: Assist in maintaining a positive and productive work environment by providing coaching, counseling, and training to team members, and by recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that the store complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, and that risks are identified and mitigated to protect the company and its assets.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager, including but not limited to, assisting with special projects, and participating in company-wide initiatives.

Expected Salary Range: $21.50 per hour
