Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our products. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accurate Documentation: Accurately documenting the results of inspections and tests to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Inspection and Testing: Performing inspections of unassembled and finished parts to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Data Management: Ensuring accuracy of data logs and work instructions to maintain a high level of quality control.
  • Equipment Calibration: Coordinating calibration of test equipment and fixtures to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitoring critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure they are functioning properly and performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Clerical and Administrative Duties: Performing clerical duties and multitasking to support the quality control process.
  • Collaboration with Engineering: Assisting Engineering with writing and updating inspection procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate's degree or technical school certification is preferred.
  • Manufacturing Experience: 1 year of manufacturing experience is required. Quality experience is also preferred.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to sit and stand for periods of time, and to lift and move up to 5-15 pounds regularly.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with usual hours of work from Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed.
