Recruiter Insight:

Position Overview:

This is a full-time role based at our Headquarters. The position may require occasional after-hours or weekend work for maintenance and project implementations, as well as some travel.

Key Responsibilities:

Advanced Technical Support:

  • Deliver high-level technical assistance to resolve intricate IT challenges escalated from Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams, ensuring prompt and effective solutions.
  • Investigate and address complex technical issues related to hardware, software, networks, and applications swiftly and efficiently.

Incident Management:

  • Oversee the resolution of critical incidents, identifying root causes and implementing lasting solutions to avert future issues.

Troubleshooting:

  • Identify and rectify hardware, software, network, and application problems across the organization's IT landscape.

Infrastructure Oversight:

  • Supervise and maintain the organization's servers, networks, and systems to guarantee optimal performance, security, and availability.

Patch Management:

  • Plan and carry out patch management tasks, including testing, deployment, and validation, to ensure systems remain current and secure.

Security Oversight:

  • Collaborate with the security team to implement and uphold security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.

Vendor Liaison:

  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution.

Documentation:

  • Maintain precise and current documentation of IT processes, procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting methodologies.

Knowledge Transfer:

  • Facilitate training and knowledge sharing with Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams to enhance their technical expertise and capabilities.

Project Assistance:

  • Support the planning, execution, and maintenance of IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
  • Ability to configure, manage, and maintain network firewalls and switches to ensure secure and efficient data transmission and connectivity.

Capacity Management:

  • Monitor system performance trends and collaborate with relevant teams to anticipate and address capacity needs.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with Active Directory (design, implementation, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience with Backup Solutions (design, implementation, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience with Storage Systems (design, implementation, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience with Virtualization - VMware/Hyper-V (design, implementation, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Office 365
  • Single Sign-On (SSO)
  • Azure Services

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Network+, Security+, Microsoft MCSE.
  • A minimum of 3 years in Tier 3 support and system management.
  • Proficiency in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Windows and/or Linux server environments.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles.
  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies and tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
