Job Summary

Envelop Group is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Systems Engineering Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supervising Support Engineers who provide crucial support functions for our sales team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Support Engineers in providing sales support from inquiry to delivery.
  • Collaborate with sales engineers to understand customer requirements and assess HVAC equipment needs.
  • Design HVAC systems based on project documents and produce site-specific installation drawings.
  • Prepare and finalize proposals, including equipment submittals and validation.
  • Assist in determining proposal price, selling strategy, and project fulfillment schedule.
  • Provide high-level application-based technical product training for our offices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent training and experience.
  • 7+ years of support engineering experience, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of experience leading a team, including coaching, mentoring, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Deep technical knowledge of HVAC systems and manufacturers.
  • Mastery of HVAC controls in new construction, renovation/retrofit project types, components, and systems.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
