Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Pfeiffer Vacuum Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial system design and a proven track record of delivering complex technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Evaluate customer requests for quotation and obtain all necessary information to resolve any discrepancies.
  2. Verify system orders for accuracy and ensure they align with the quotation.
  3. Design proposed systems to meet customer requirements, selecting and specifying all necessary components.
  4. Prepare technical equipment specifications and identify customized features and components that meet design scope and customer requirements.
  5. Lead the technical aspects of the system design process, collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure customer expectations are met.
  6. Prepare and finalize system manuals, providing technical presentations to support marketing and training programs.
  7. Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical assistance as required.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  2. 2-4 years of experience in industrial system design, with a preference for experience with vacuum and leak detection technology.
  3. Familiarity with various software programming, mechanical, and electrical solutions.
  4. Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively in English.
