Position Summary:
The Strategic Finance Manager will collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to enhance R2Net's financial and strategic direction. This role is pivotal in providing analytical support to various departments, including Human Resources, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, ensuring informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the comprehensive planning, monitoring, and reporting of financial performance, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Lead the governance process surrounding Annual Planning, utilizing data-driven insights.
  • Create and enhance Tableau financial reports, providing actionable insights from data analysis.
  • Manage strategic and operational projects, collaborating with business leaders to drive initiatives.
  • Evaluate financial performance against forecasts, identifying and analyzing variances.
  • Conduct market share assessments and competitive analyses to deliver clear messaging across the organization.
  • Contribute to the development of advanced financial modeling capabilities.
  • Support the establishment and refinement of financial models and reporting processes.
  • Oversee budget elements for support functions, monitoring costs against forecasts and alerting management to discrepancies.
  • Lead and support ongoing strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Drive cost efficiency analyses and report on savings initiatives.
  • Prepare presentations for key stakeholders, including the leadership team, focusing on performance insights.
  • Advance data transformation initiatives, enhancing data management and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; advanced degrees (MS/MBA) are a plus.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in external audit, advisory, consulting, or investment banking, with a strong analytical background.
  • Proficiency in information systems and tools for data management.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Experience handling large datasets is essential.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with SAP.
  • Experience with PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of SQL or Python is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in Big 4 firms, consulting, or investment banking.
