About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Key Carrier and Coordinator to join our team at HomeSense. As a Key Carrier, you will alternate between performing the role of Coordinator and taking on a leadership role in maintaining all aspects of the store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a positive internal and external customer experience by providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming store environment.
  • Promote a culture of honesty and integrity, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Act as Manager on Duty, exercising discretion and making decisions to satisfy customers while adhering to company policies.
  • Ensure store team performance aligns with store plan, prioritizing tasks as needed and addressing customer service issues promptly.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to Associates, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Partner with Management to identify and address training needs, ensuring Associate effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs, supporting shrink reduction goals and initiatives.
  • Support and participate in safety awareness and maintenance efforts, ensuring a safe environment for all.
Requirements
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, with open availability.
  • Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills, able to respond effectively to changes and unexpected situations.
  • Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures, as well as merchandise flow in stores.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to coach, delegate, and follow up on multiple tasks and people.
  • Able to act quickly under challenging circumstances, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Superior communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.

We offer a competitive starting pay range of $14.00 to $14.50 per hour, with opportunities for growth and development within the company.
