Job Title: Managing Director, SLC Compensation

Sun Life Financial is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our compensation and rewards team as a Managing Director, SLC Compensation. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing compensation strategies that drive business outcomes and support the growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement compensation programs that align with business objectives and support employee engagement and retention.
  • Lead a team of compensation professionals in designing and delivering compensation strategies and programs.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to ensure compensation programs are aligned with business objectives and support organizational goals.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform compensation decisions and ensure competitiveness.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and consultants to support compensation program delivery.
  • Monitor and analyze compensation program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, with a focus on leadership and strategy.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful compensation programs that drive business outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to partner with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits trends and best practices.
