Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Residence Inn Anaheim Placentia/Fullerton. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the operation, including guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales, and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in leading the team in the development and implementation of property-wide strategies.
  • Verify the implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives to meet or exceed guest expectations.
  • Build relationships with key customers and be involved in the sales process.
  • Manage the operation of all property departments, including guest services, front desk, and housekeeping.
  • Promote both Guarantee of Fair Treatment and Open Door policies.
  • Verify that a viable key control program is in place and maintain current licenses and permits as prescribed by local, state, and federal agencies.
  • Provide a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA/MSDS.
  • Manage all finance and accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, petty cash, payroll, and ordering procedures.
  • Review financial statements, sales, and activity reports to measure productivity and goal achievement.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED; 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or a related professional area.
  • Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major; 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or a related professional area.
