Position Overview

This role is designed to offer direct assistance to Education Service Centers (ESCs) and Local Education Agencies (LEAs) throughout Texas. The incumbent will collaborate closely with the TIER team to provide professional development support, particularly in the areas of behavioral and mental health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide representatives from Education Service Centers, TIER Initiative members, and Local Education Agencies in training and coaching implementation.
  • Evaluate project data to devise, execute, and oversee strategies aimed at enhancing participant comprehension of MTSS/TIER content.
  • Engage in partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate in-person or virtual professional development sessions utilizing TIER content.
  • Adhere to the expectations outlined in the project's Required Activities Document.
  • Maintain effective communication regarding project goals with project leadership.
Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree accompanied by a minimum of eight years of pertinent experience, including public education experience at the classroom, campus, or district levels.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

A Master’s degree with at least six years of relevant experience, particularly in special education or related fields such as counseling, behavior, or psychology.

Salary Range

$61,572 - $80,688
