Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at the City of Gastonia North Carolina. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will provide administrative support to our office, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to our office, including typing documents, preparing and maintaining files and records, and assisting with greeting and directing visitors.
- Answer telephones, provide general information, and assist with procurement and personnel matters.
- Assist with various administrative tasks, such as data entry, mail distribution, and other office-related duties.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
