Position Summary:
The Controller will serve as a key partner to the plant operations team, focusing on performance enhancement and compliance. This role involves analyzing and communicating financial outcomes, spearheading improvement initiatives, and managing inventory and capital expenditures effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
2. Lead the development of financial talent and build a cohesive team.
3. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing processes.
4. Drive operational involvement and lean manufacturing improvements.
5. Implement process enhancements and cost-saving projects.
6. Conduct capital analysis and manage asset oversight.
7. Ensure inventory accuracy and control.

Performance Metrics:
This role provides direct financial support to the Plant Manager and collaborates with local and Business Unit teams on strategic initiatives. The Controller will deliver impactful analytics to facilitate informed decision-making across the organization.

Collaboration:
Work closely with the plant manager and staff to address operational challenges while aligning with the company's best interests. A deep understanding of plant operations and products is essential for effective costing, forecasting, and budgeting.

Coaching and Development:
Guide team members and value stream leaders on financial principles of lean manufacturing to optimize labor, materials, and processes. Proactively set spending targets that align with productivity goals and assess performance against financial objectives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
- Minimum of 10 years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in a large manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in SAP and advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Strong ability to connect operational and financial aspects.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence teams.
