At TE Connectivity Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Plant Operations Finance Manager to join our team. This role plays a vital part in driving performance improvement and compliance at our APL Lickdale plant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and actively communicating business results, driving improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with all of TE's policies and procedures.

This position supports forecasting, budgeting, month-end close, cost control, inventory accuracy and control, product costing, lean manufacturing improvements, process improvement, and internal controls.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP in a manufacturing environment and be able to identify key material and conversion variances and focus operations on those opportunities for improvement.

Key responsibilities include internal control and compliance, development of talent, budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, performance driving, operational involvement, site manager requests, lean manufacturing improvements, process improvement, and cost savings projects.

Measures of performance include providing direct financial support to the Plant Manager, working with local and Business Unit teams on strategic initiatives, and partnering with the plant manager and staff to resolve plant issues in the best interest of the site and company.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Accounting or Finance, minimum 10 years of work experience in Finance, and 5 years of experience in a large manufacturing site.

Strong computer skills, including SAP manufacturing experience, proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Data warehouses, are essential. The ideal candidate will also have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, be a self-starter, independent leader, and have experience in leading and influencing teams.
