Restaurant Operations Manager

The Assistant Restaurant Manager assists the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the efficient operation of the restaurant. This includes supervising staff, ensuring quality product and service, and maintaining profitability. Key responsibilities include interviewing and selecting staff, conducting pre-shift meetings, and evaluating team members to ensure consistent high standards of service. The Assistant Restaurant Manager also interacts positively with customers, resolves problems, and maintains rapport with all departments. Additionally, they are responsible for controlling payroll and equipment costs, ensuring par stock levels, and developing cost and profit enhancing measures.

Key Responsibilities:

Overview

The Assistant Restaurant Manager plays a critical role in the success of the restaurant. They are responsible for ensuring that the restaurant operates efficiently and effectively, and that the staff provides excellent service to customers. The Assistant Restaurant Manager must be able to work well under pressure, think critically, and make sound decisions quickly. They must also be able to communicate effectively with staff, customers, and other departments.
