About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our Advanced Development Center in St. Louis, MO. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing profitability, and maximizing customer satisfaction for our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement product plan strategies and create product roadmaps to maximize revenue growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to manage the trade-offs between product performance, cost, and time to market.
  • Lead the planning and execution of product launches, including post-sales technical support.
  • Conduct and respond to global competitive position analyses to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Manage the product line and ensure the development and implementation of product life-cycle strategies.
  • Lead the process to generate the demand forecast for product line(s) and work with Marketing Communications to build the Watlow brand and promote products.
  • Develop and maintain sales tools and training materials, such as spec sheets, catalogs, and case histories.
  • Gain deep knowledge of product line, applications, and markets served, as well as understand plant capabilities, product flow, and product cost drivers.
  • Participate in the marketing leadership team, local leadership team, and as required strategic business unit teams.
  • Be a champion to improve the overall customer experience and recommend effective channel strategies for the assigned products.
Requirements
  • BS degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business.
  • Minimum five years of experience in an industrial Business-2-Business strategic marketing role.
  • Ability to travel 20-25% of time.

  • MBA preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience launching innovative new products/capabilities.
  • Practical understanding of the operational, financial, and marketing aspects of the assigned product line.
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively and insightfully identify market opportunities from raw data or from marketing/sales relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects to goals and timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and/or foster a leadership environment that is conducive to teamwork and demonstrates a genuine concern for the personal development of the team's members.
  • Demonstrated organization, coordination, and communications skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office software program.
