Position Title: Consumer Engagement Specialist

Position Summary:
The Consumer Engagement Specialist plays a pivotal role in crafting and implementing email and SMS marketing strategies for Mutual of Omaha Mortgage. This position is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and management of daily marketing communications aimed at effectively reaching diverse target audiences and nurturing leads, while ensuring alignment with the company's overarching communication objectives and brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a proficient user of email and SMS marketing platforms, showcasing expertise in automation, engagement strategies, and analytical tools to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee multiple projects and campaigns concurrently, ensuring prompt and efficient execution across various channels.
  • Design, plan, and manage the daily content for email marketing efforts to support overall communication strategies and brand messaging.
  • Develop and implement email and SMS campaigns, including audience segmentation, list management, and content publishing.
  • Create, execute, and evaluate automated workflows tailored to the specific needs of different branches and departments.
  • Conduct A/B testing to enhance the performance and engagement rates of email and SMS communications.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of email and SMS campaigns, utilizing testing methodologies and detailed analytics.
  • Regularly present performance reports and insights to marketing leadership, adapting communication to suit varying levels of technical understanding.
  • Audit content for accuracy, ensuring all links, landing pages, and tracking parameters are functioning correctly, while providing creative direction when necessary.
  • Utilize analytics to continuously refine processes and deliver actionable insights to branches and departments.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource for other marketing team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in email and SMS marketing, with a strong background in marketing automation and analytics.
  • Comprehensive understanding of marketing best practices, including audience segmentation, A/B testing, and campaign performance analysis.
  • Exceptional project management abilities, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail in execution and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to convey complex data and insights to a diverse audience.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including design and technical personnel.
  • Experience in the financial services or mortgage sector is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
