Role Summary:

As the SBA Operations and Service Supervisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customer service within our expanding portfolio. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with SBA closers, Credit Administration, Loan Operations, and clients on servicing requests, which encompass annual reviews, payoffs, and loan bookings. Staying informed on SBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), lender policies, and relevant state and federal banking regulations will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and address all customer inquiries efficiently.
  • Conduct reporting, research, and reconciliation for 1502 reporting.
  • Manage all facets of loan booking, funding, billing, and servicing for SBA 7(a) Loan Originations.
  • Establish and maintain financial and insurance reminders post-closing.
  • Evaluate and scrutinize financial documentation for completeness, SBA program eligibility, and creditworthiness throughout the loan lifecycle.
  • Utilize advanced technologies to ensure top-tier service delivery.
  • Guarantee that all servicing tasks comply with regulatory requirements and SBA guidelines.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all relevant Exos Small Business Lending policies and procedures.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of SBA SOP as well as the Servicing and Liquidation Lender Matrix.
  • Prepare documentation for various servicing actions related to loans.
  • Ensure proper collateral positioning and review insurance documents for adequate coverage.
  • Identify and recommend corrections for errors that may jeopardize the lender's SBA guaranty or lead to penalties.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in SBA loan servicing and oversight.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field; relevant experience in SBA lending will also be considered.
  • Exceptional financial analysis capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Thorough understanding of necessary financial and collateral documentation for various loan types.
  • Familiarity with different legal entity borrowing structures, including Limited Liability Companies, Corporations, Partnerships, and Tenant in Common arrangements.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with employees, management, and external parties.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities.
  • Proven capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to identify challenges and opportunities while exploring viable solutions.
  • Capacity to foster a positive and cohesive team environment.
  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and service level agreements.
  • Proficient PC skills and a quick adaptability to new systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with PCFS (Loan Manager).
  • Familiarity with Spark.
  • Demonstrated credit underwriting skills through the creation of clear and comprehensive Servicing Requests.

Work Environment:

  • Remote work setting.
