Urban Pathways is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our facilities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our clients and staff. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supervising operations staff, managing maintenance and repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and train operations staff to ensure effective delivery of program goals and client services.
- Perform duties of operations staff in their absence, including cooking, security, and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure the safety of clients and staff by complying with all safety requirements and regulations.
- Screen client arrivals, provide services, and make referrals as mandated by the program.
- Supervise security staff during assigned shifts and assist with client relocations as needed.
- Assess facility maintenance needs and report emergency issues to the Director of Operations.
- Oversee incident reporting and log entries during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with incident reporting policy.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of two years of building operations and security experience, with at least one year of supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience working with homeless populations, mental health conditions, and substance abuse is preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Good computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
