Position Title: Azure DevOps Engineer/SRE

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the deployment of online builds and manage the ship-driving process.
  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues effectively.
  • Create scripts and mechanisms to enhance the efficiency of site reliability tasks.
  • Define new components while understanding service interdependencies and constraints.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and eagerness to learn about performance scalability, enterprise system architecture, and engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with product development and engineering teams.
  • Exhibit self-motivation, curiosity, proactivity, and a results-oriented mindset.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software engineering, particularly in cloud infrastructure management and DevOps.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages such as Python, Batch, or PowerShell.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, patterns, practices, and agile methodologies.
  • Experience managing infrastructure and troubleshooting on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, with comfort in operations involving virtual machines and containers.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for learning new technologies and sharing knowledge with colleagues.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Candidates must meet Microsoft customer and/or government security screening requirements for this role, which may include specialized security screenings. An active TS clearance is required, with a willingness to upgrade to TSSCI with polygraph, or an active TSSCI with a willingness to upgrade. Maintaining the TSSCI with polygraph clearance is essential for this position.

Citizenship Verification:

This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to legal restrictions related to government agency support. Citizenship will be verified through a valid passport or other approved documents.
