Position Title: Azure DevOps Engineer/SRE
Location: Bellevue, WA
Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the deployment of online builds and manage the associated processes.
• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware challenges.
• Create scripts and mechanisms to enhance the efficiency of site reliability tasks.
• Define new components while understanding service interdependencies and constraints.
• Demonstrate knowledge and eagerness to learn about performance scalability, enterprise system architecture, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with product development and engineering teams.
• Exhibit self-motivation, curiosity, proactivity, and a results-oriented mindset.
Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software engineering, particularly in cloud infrastructure management and DevOps.
• Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages such as Python, Batch, or PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, patterns, practices, and agile methodologies.
• Experience in managing infrastructure and troubleshooting within cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, with comfort in operating virtual machines and containers.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Passion for acquiring new skills and technologies and sharing knowledge with peers.
Additional Requirements:
• Candidates must meet Microsoft customer and/or government security screening requirements for this role, which may include specialized security screenings.
• An active TS clearance is required, with a willingness to upgrade to TSSCI with polygraph, or possess an active TSSCI and be willing to upgrade.
• Successful verification of the stated security clearance is necessary to meet federal government customer requirements.
• Citizenship verification is required due to legal restrictions, specifically for roles supporting U.S. federal, state, or local government agencies.
