About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at Huntsville Hospital Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing echocardiographic procedures at a technical level, utilizing independent judgment and initiative to deliver high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services.

Responsibilities
  • Perform state-of-the-art diagnostic ultrasound procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Use independent judgment to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results.
  • Develop and maintain strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • ARDMS certification within 1 year of hire.
  • CPR certification within 6 months of hire.
  • One year of clinical ultrasound experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
