About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Consultant to join our team at US Tech Solutions. As a key member of our compensation team, you will play a critical role in optimizing our annual market analysis process and implementing a new system to support our end-to-end process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the creation of an Annual Market Analysis project plan to implement a new system
  • Drive the RFP process for vendor selection within the Compensation team
  • Lead the design of a go-forward solution utilizing the new system, including compensation structures, tools, and processes
  • Lead the build and implementation of the new solution
  • Complete a project assignment for one or more ex-U.S. countries, including:
    • Providing a recommendation for salary range assignments based on guiding principles (market 50th, job family progression, etc.)
    • Analyzing the gap for our current range assignments
    • Providing a recommendation for how/when to implement a solution, including budget impact and change management
  • Conduct complex modeling and costing for compensation programs
  • Lead the development of annual salary budget proposals by country
  • Manage the aging and refresh process for global salary range structures
  • Manage and facilitate the annual salary range job assignment process, including developing supporting tools and process, consolidating input from the broader team, and auditing results
  • Develop our annual merit matrix based on performance and position in range, subject to salary budgets
  • Partner with Finance to ensure appropriate forecasting and planning for various compensation program costs
  • Lead or participate in a broad range of ad hoc projects
Requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise with market pricing/compensation survey management tools
  • Demonstrated background in data analysis and cost modeling
  • Able to drive projects to completion with minimal direction
  • Build strong justification to support recommendations and effectively communicate with decision-makers
  • Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Team player who can easily handle shifting priorities, multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Motivated and willing to take initiative
Preferred Qualifications
  • Senior Manager to Director level experience
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive data in a confidential manner
  • Experience working in a global organization with 5,000 or more employees
  • Biopharmaceutical or Pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Working knowledge of Excel VBA, macros, advanced formulas
  • Experience working with Sharepoint and Microsoft Teams
  • CCP/GRP certification or course completion desired
