The Role
We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to serve as a strategic consultant for our product offerings, ensuring customer success and maximizing the value derived from our solutions.
Your responsibilities will encompass supporting and leading accounts throughout their lifecycle—from onboarding to fostering product usage expansion across relevant teams.
Moreover, you will act as a vital liaison among revenue teams, product development, and our technical teams to facilitate account growth and support product innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, coordinating all aspects of product delivery and ensuring a thorough understanding of customer needs.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of our products to effectively train, nurture, and empower customers in utilizing the UrbanFootprint platform and Resilience Insights layers.
- Proactively identify and address any challenges that may hinder product adoption, usage, and expansion, which may involve training customers on new use cases or coordinating solutions internally and externally.
- Collaborate closely with Technical Project Managers, Solutions Analysts, Sales, and Product Managers to enhance our implementation strategies and improve product delivery processes.
- For new features or customized projects, coordinate product delivery efforts across UrbanFootprint teams, including Data Science, Customer Success, Product, and Business Development, to meet project timelines and customer requirements.
- Establish strong business relationships with customer leads throughout the contract lifecycle to ensure their needs are met and they advocate for our company.
- Generate, modify, and contextualize internal reports regarding customer-specific product usage and potential advancements.
- Communicate updates on customer product implementation and usage to the broader UrbanFootprint team and assist the Sales and Business Development team in identifying expansion opportunities.
Your Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in customer-facing project management, particularly focused on data-oriented deliverables or product delivery.
- 4+ years of experience managing teams.
- 4+ years of experience as an analyst with expertise in spatial analysis, ideally in areas such as urban planning, government, energy, climate change, natural hazard vulnerability, social equity, or finance.
- Proficiency in geospatial data analysis methodologies using programming languages (Python or SQL) or GIS platforms (ArcGIS or QGIS) is a plus.
- A BS or MS in Engineering, Data Science (with a focus on geospatial analysis), Geography, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Economics, or similar technical fields.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Previous experience in product development support and/or product delivery.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience in a technical consulting role or direct engagement with external stakeholders, with the capability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with Jira.
Compensation:
The target salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $170,000, with additional bonus eligibility and equity. Compensation is flexible based on experience, and candidates at various levels will be considered.
