Senior Anesthesia Technician

Position Overview:
This role encompasses all responsibilities associated with a non-lead anesthesia technician, including the management of anesthesia and non-controlled medication inventory across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain appropriate inventory levels for anesthesia supplies in all operational areas.
2. Provide mentorship and support to newly hired and less experienced anesthesia technicians.
3. Collaborate with the CSR and Purchasing departments to oversee anesthesia-related purchases and manage recall supplies effectively.
4. Work closely with Biomedical Engineering to ensure timely repair and service of malfunctioning equipment.

Collaboration:
Engage with all operating room colleagues to guarantee the delivery of safe, efficient, and cost-effective patient care.

Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Preferred: Surgical Technician Trade School
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years utilizing sterilization techniques in an operating room (Required)
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an anesthesia technician in an operating room (Required)
Licenses/Certifications:
- ASATT certification preferred.
