Position: Anesthesia and Ambulatory Surgery Facility Support Associate

Role Overview:

  • Oversee the management of equipment and supplies within the surgical environment while ensuring optimal conditions in the Ambulatory Surgery Facility.
  • Procure and replenish anesthesia and operating room materials, and facilitate the setup, maintenance, and sanitation of equipment used in anesthesia and surgical procedures.
  • Aid in the preparation of surgical suites for anesthesia, surgical interventions, and nursing responsibilities.
  • Contribute to patient care under the guidance of registered nurses and physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily inventory levels and restock supplies in accordance with established standards.
  • Set up and dismantle equipment for operating rooms and anesthesia areas.
  • Provide environmental services and assist with room turnover as necessary.
  • Execute tasks related to the upkeep and decontamination of equipment.
  • Perform errands as assigned, including the collection and delivery of specimens.

Qualifications:
Certified Anesthesia Technician

Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
  • Completion of an Anesthesia Technician program or a related field is required.
