Position Overview:
This role encompasses all responsibilities outlined for a non-lead anesthesia technician, focusing on the management of anesthesia and non-controlled medication supplies across various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain optimal inventory levels for anesthesia supplies in all designated areas.
2. Provide mentorship and support to new and less experienced anesthesia technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment.
3. Collaborate with the CSR and Purchasing departments to oversee anesthesia procurement and ensure the removal of recalled items.
4. Work closely with Biomedical Engineering to address equipment malfunctions, ensuring timely repairs and safe operational status.
5. Partner with operating room colleagues to guarantee safe, efficient, and cost-effective patient care.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Preferred: Surgical Technician Trade School
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years utilizing sterilization techniques in an operating room (Required)
- Minimum of 3 years as an anesthesia technician in an operating room (Required)
Licenses/Certifications:
- ASATT certification preferred.
