Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Coordinator for Adult Education and CTE to join our team at Indian River State College. This role will be responsible for aggregating, analyzing, and communicating program data and processes for multiple sites, as well as developing and maintaining adult education and CTE reports/analyses to demonstrate program efficiency and needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Aggregate, analyze, and communicate program data and processes for multiple sites relevant to enrollment, retention, academic progress, graduation, completion, adult transition to post-secondary, Perkins special populations, CTE program concentrators, and Perkins/CTE/NRS outcome measures.
  • Develop and maintain adult education and CTE reports/analyses to demonstrate program efficiency and needs.
  • Train employees in the method of data collection and proper record keeping for National Reporting System (NRS) and state reporting purposes.
  • Maintain and monitor accurate adult education student records for reporting, including program of study, attendance, Literacy Completion Points, and enrollment status.
  • Complete weekly data reconciliations for student registration and grades.
  • Stay abreast of current and emerging issues related to the data and reporting of adult education, industry certifications, Perkins V Grant, and CTE.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships across areas of the College, especially those involving data, CTE, and adult education.
  • Compile and format externally-housed data, including online attendance, WIOA data, and GED completions, into files meeting the requirements for state reporting and the ERP system.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Adult Education, Math, Computer Science, or a data-related field.
  • Strong background in technology.
  • Proven knowledge of adult education or career and technical education (CTE).
  • Proven skills and experience in data management and analysis of large datasets.
  • Ability to use statistics, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and experience in writing, coordinating, and managing grants.
  • Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain strict accuracy.
  • Computer proficiency and literacy with particular emphasis on data collection, management, and reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis in Excel, required.
  • Experience with SQL query tools preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Workday.
  • Knowledge of emerging educational technologies.
  • Ability to interact diplomatically with diverse populations, including students, support staff, faculty, supervisors/administrators.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of student data and exercising sound/independent judgment.
  • Valid Florida driver's license for travel within the service district on a regular basis, conference attendance, and meetings outside of the service district as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Work experience in Adult/Developmental Education, Career and Technical Education, Institutional Research, or a related field.
Physical Requirements

This position requires an ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, reach up, stoop, and carry items occasionally in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds. It also requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines, such as a copier, fax, calculator, telephone, and other equipment as necessary.
