Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at The Mansions at Alpharetta. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Care: Supervise and monitor nursing staff to ensure the highest quality care is provided to our residents. Coordinate with the Director of Wellness to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Assess and Monitor Residents: Conduct daily rounds to assess the condition of residents, identify potential issues, and report to the Director of Wellness or delegating R.N./Physician as needed.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as per signed doctor's orders, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Staff Supervision and Development: Supervise Home Health Aides and nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Emergency Response: Administer emergency first aid and respond to medical emergencies as needed.
- Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate records of resident care, including vital signs, weights, and medication administration. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the nurse's station, medication room, and cart.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Director of Wellness, Executive Director, and other healthcare team members to ensure a cohesive and effective care delivery system.
- Nursing Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program, currently licensed to practice in the state. Experience in geriatric care is preferred.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Organizational and Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Certifications and Training: CPR certified, or obtained within 90 days of hire and yearly thereafter.
