Job Summary:

Bond Clinic, P.A. is a professional healthcare organization seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse LPN- IV Certified to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN- IV Certified, you will provide high-quality patient care and assist in the delivery of healthcare management services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides professional nursing care under supervision for clinic patients.
  • Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
  • Assists with the preparation of equipment and aids physician during treatment, examination, and testing of patients.
  • Observes, records, and reports patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians.
  • Dispenses medication as directed.
  • Assists when necessary with appointment bookings and ensures preferences are given to patients in emergency situations.
  • Maintains timely flow of patients.
  • Greets patients and prepares them for physician examination.
  • Screens patients for appropriate information.
  • Instructs patients in collection of samples tests.
  • Arranges for patient testing and admissions.
  • Responds to and refers incoming telephone calls.
  • Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions.
  • Orders, prepares, and instructs patient's charts.
  • Posts testing and examination results.
  • Responsible for preparation of exam rooms including restocking of treatment area.
  • Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested.
  • Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliation.
  • Maintains patient and office confidentiality.
  • Performs related work as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED along with graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Florida State License to practice practical nursing.
  • Experience with an Electronic Medical Records system.
  • Previous nursing experience along with IV certification.
  • Computer experience required.
