Responsibilities:
  • Deliver weekly sales activity reports and meet with department managers to keep them up to date on all sales-related expenses
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maintain high levels of occupancy and profitability
  • Evaluate market data and create a plan to meet design marketing deliverables and hotel financial goals
  • Boost revenue and increase new guest visits through strategic outbound sales efforts
  • Create methods to help the sales team reach and surpass monthly room booking targets
  • Lead the Market Center and implement the company's vision
  • Use Growth Initiative tools to achieve goals for appointments and gross recruits
  • Consult top associates to increase productivity and retention
  • Attain a dominant market share in target markets
  • Build the Market Center to acceptable profitability
  • Consult the Executive leadership team and provide training opportunities

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Recruit sales associates – weekly (interview, select, hire)
  • Share Market Center value/opportunities story with all Market Center leadership and associates
  • Share Market Center value with recruits
  • Manage staff to acceptable professionalism and job performance
  • Research competition and develop business prospecting
  • Conduct performance reviews of staff
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience of 5+ years as a sales professional in a related field is required
  • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Knowledge of computer-based software such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proven track record of sales success in lead-generation and closing skills
