As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs, recruiting and managing team members, and communicating with athletes, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement training programs that meet the needs of our athletes, including creating and maintaining individual long-term developmental plans and goals.
  • Recruit and manage team members, including planning and conducting team tryouts, managing retention rates, and developing a positive and safe training environment.
  • Communicate and cooperate with athletes, parents, and staff regarding team-related issues, as well as promoting EGA's brand, programs, and services.
  • Orchestrate competitive seasons with your team, including knowing and following procedures set by meet hosts, establishing and maintaining high individual and team results, and providing constructive feedback to athletes and parents.
  • Participate in EGA special events, such as parades and in-club meets, as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Must be energetic, motivated, and have a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to multi-task, think quickly, stay calm, and problem-solve.
  • Must be able to prioritize and pay attention to detail.
  • Must possess great people skills - friendly and able to create professional relationships.
  • Knowledge of gymnastics and previous coaching experience preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Ability to spot gymnastics during practice.
