We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Resilient Healthcare in Dallas, TX.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients, promoting their quality of life and movement potential. Key responsibilities include preparing engaging exercises, providing counseling and consultations, following patient goals and objectives, assisting physical therapists, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Exercise Preparation: Develop personalized exercise plans to aid patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
  • Counseling and Consultations: Offer guidance and support to new patients, family members, and caregivers.
  • Goal-Oriented Care: Work collaboratively with physical therapists to set and achieve patient objectives.
  • Assisting Physical Therapists: Provide direct patient care according to established plans of care.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress.
Requirements
  • Licensure: Must hold a current license as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Texas.
  • Software Proficiency: Experienced with computer software commonly used for documentation and report preparation.
  • Education: Associate degree in physical therapy is required.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrates knowledge of HIPAA legislation and other patient privacy laws; experienced in handling sensitive patient information.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work primarily in a standing position and lift at least 50 pounds.
