Medical City Dallas: Respiratory Therapist Seasonal PRN Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a seasonal, PRN basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in accordance with departmental and state standards.

About the Role:

This is a seasonal position with a contract that runs through April 5th, 2025. You will be required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during this time. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in respiratory therapy and possess basic cardiac life support certification.

You will be responsible for performing patient assessments, conducting diagnostic procedures, administering respiratory care therapies, and monitoring patient response. Additionally, you may be required to assist with placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.

Benefits:

As a seasonal employee, you will not be eligible for all benefits, but you will receive a competitive salary, which is estimated to be around $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also have access to our 401(k) plan and retirement contribution program.
