Role Responsibilities:
The FAST Labs Engineering division is in search of a Systems Engineer to spearhead the integration of a groundbreaking multi-functional RF system. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse group of scientists, engineers, and industry stakeholders to devise inventive solutions to intricate national security challenges. Your primary responsibilities will encompass the integration, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic systems that leverage EW/RF convergence effects.

Key Qualifications:
  • Proficient in applying analytical and critical thinking skills across various domains to address complex issues creatively.
  • Experience in researching and implementing advanced technical solutions in RF sensing, communications, and electronic warfare.
  • Lead integration and testing initiatives, including team leadership, field test support, and hardware/software integration at remote locations.
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to resolve performance issues and recommend effective solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and the necessary infrastructure to meet customer expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, industry partners, customers, and management regarding ideas and solutions.
  • Ensure rigorous standards are applied to meet system requirements that align with customer needs.
Essential Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Over 8 years of relevant industry experience, particularly in hardware validation and verification testing.
  • Demonstrated expertise in RF testing methodologies and systems.
  • Familiarity with Python and/or MATLAB for data analysis and visualization.
  • Willingness to travel to remote sites for test events and training as necessary.
  • Proficient with various test equipment, including RF sources, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Strong skills in root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Active TS security clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with complex systems testing in maritime environments.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python and MATLAB.
  • Familiarity with Linux and command line interfaces, along with software debugging experience.
  • Experience in managing test and evaluation programs.
  • Possession of a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this full-time position is $215,270.
