About the Role

The Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Systems (C4ISRS) Business Area is dedicated to providing actionable intelligence for military personnel and decision-makers through cutting-edge technical solutions. Our Space Systems division is recognized for delivering high-reliability space electronics and mission systems, supporting a variety of civil, commercial, and national security missions for over 25 years. We are at the leading edge of developing advanced processing solutions, RF and optical payloads, and cross-domain solutions that empower our clients to achieve previously unattainable mission capabilities.

We are seeking a seasoned systems engineer to guide a diverse team of engineers in the development and deployment of critical military capabilities. Your role will encompass overseeing the systems engineering deliverables, which include establishing the requirements baseline, design, and integration processes to successfully field this capability. Under your technical direction, the team will apply digital engineering and model-based systems engineering methodologies to conduct operational concept development, feasibility assessments, design, development, performance modeling, and hardware/software evaluations. This position also involves preparing and presenting technical briefings for internal stakeholders and client meetings.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI and additional SAP/SAR clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a medium-sized team of systems engineers.
  • Proficient in systems engineering processes throughout the development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system modeling, design, integration, and testing.
  • Familiarity with radar applications.
  • Experience with technical performance metrics and cost account management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience interfacing with senior management and clients.

Preferred:

  • Experience with radar applications.
  • Bid and proposal experience on major lifecycle programs.
  • M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field with 11 years of experience, or a Ph.D. with 9 years of experience.
  • Experience with model-based systems engineering tools such as Magic Draw.
  • Familiarity with Agile Systems Engineering methodologies.

Salary Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $239,140. Please note that this range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries influenced by various factors including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
