In the role of Director, Operations Technology, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Facilitate collaboration between FAST Labs personnel and production experts to enhance manufacturing readiness and ensure comprehensive assessments are conducted throughout the collaboration lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the development of the Microelectronics product line, focusing on the transition from scientific research to production, and establish efficient assembly processes that yield high-quality results.
  • Identify and analyze gaps in assembly capabilities, providing critical insights for engineering and manufacturing development planning.
  • Create long-term producibility roadmaps for Operations, incorporating external alternatives and leading-edge technologies.
  • Support initiatives to capture future Fast Labs projects, collaborating with various stakeholders to secure funding for technology maturation efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, chemical, materials, or related field).
  • 15 years of experience in new product introduction, technology transition, and manufacturability studies.
  • Strong ability to work independently and effectively communicate across diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense technology assessments and commercialization strategies.
  • Proven experience in team collaboration and risk management.
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with APQP / AS9145 methodologies in early research stages.
  • Capability to achieve Top Secret clearance.
