Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Coordinator to join our team at the Courtyard by Marriott Waterbury Downtown. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a critical role in planning, soliciting, and coordinating room sales to meet and exceed hotel profit objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Solicit and negotiate new and repeat business for the hotel
- Notify and coordinate customer specifications with other departments
- Respond to customer issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience
- Maintain accurate and legible records and files
- Complete special projects and participate in task forces and committees as assigned
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimum direction
- Proficiency with MS Office products, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
