Senior Manager Automation

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager to lead our Supply Chain Automation Team in deploying Automation systems in our distribution centers. The ideal candidate will work closely with material handling suppliers to design and implement automated solutions that enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a comprehensive strategy for deploying Automation in our distribution centers.
- Lead the design and implementation of automated storage solutions, including selecting the appropriate Automation material handling equipment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure Automation design meets business requirements.
- Manage the installation and commissioning of Automation, including overseeing supplier installation teams and coordinating with internal resources.
- Develop and maintain relationships with material handling suppliers, including negotiating contracts and monitoring industry trends.
- Establish and track key performance indicators to measure Automation deployment success.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain automation, including experience deploying automation in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
- Deep knowledge of material handling equipment and Automation technology.
- Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex technical information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and improve processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with global supply chains and managing vendor relationships.
