Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Manager to join our team at the University of Texas at Austin. As a critical member of our Communications Team, you will provide marketing expertise, maintain brand standards, and build communications networks for a national research center with disabled and diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage digital communications, including the website and its newsfeed, social media, email newsletters, and online resources.
  • Create and implement a content marketing calendar to integrate and coordinate dissemination throughout all digital channels.
  • Collaborate with website developers to prioritize the user experience, create and integrate National Disability Center content, and implement strategies to increase web traffic and search engine results rankings.
  • Manage social media presence and content calendar, supervising Student Fellows as they assist in creating engaging content.
  • Monitor social media channels for breaking news or trending topics and recommend responses as needed.
  • Manage, create, and track monthly email newsletters and all email and SMS marketing communications, including subscriber lists and outreach.
  • Produce internal impact reports with analytics to inform future communications strategies and update the Leadership and Evaluation Teams.
  • Assist with outreach activities, online events, media relations, and research, collaborating with vendors, consultants, and graduate students as required.
  • Use project management tools to facilitate and delegate workflows, supporting business management, including budget tracking with director, leadership calendars, and management of Center email inbox.
  • Contribute to an organizational culture that supports collaboration and effectiveness.
