Eastern Regional Sales Manager

Legrand NA is seeking a highly skilled Eastern Regional Sales Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading the sales development in the North-East region of North America, focusing on the lighting design community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing sales volumes, working closely with sales representatives and specifiers in the region. They will also be responsible for launching new products into the market, confidently and knowledgeably presenting their features and benefits.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the architectural lighting industry, including I.E.S. standards and lighting design. They will also possess excellent presentation and public speaking skills, as well as strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and business relationships.
This role will be based in New York City and will work collaboratively with our team in Chicago. The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong internal relationships with engineering, customer service, purchasing, finance, marketing, and other key members of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain key specifier and customer relationships
- Grow market share in critical market segments
- Launch new products into the market
- Confidently present new products to customers
- Build strong internal relationships with key stakeholders
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the architectural lighting industry
