We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Avalon Square. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality meals and dining experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve attractive, nutritious, and palatable meals consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our customers.
  • Manage food inventory, ordering, and storage to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a restaurant, healthcare, or senior services setting.
  • Knowledge of state and federal food-handling regulations (Serve Safe Certification).
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
