Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at New Perspective, providing exceptional service to our residents and guests during weekend shifts. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality dining experience, ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with residents and guests in a friendly and courteous manner, providing personalized service and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the menu, making suggestions and recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Collect payment from residents and guests, handling transactions with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Enter orders into the POS system, ensuring seamless communication with the kitchen team.
  • Maintain impeccable personal grooming and hygiene standards, adhering to food-safe handling practices.
  • Perform dining room checklists, ensuring readiness, cleanliness, safety, and department of health compliance.
  • Assist the food preparation team as needed, contributing to the smooth operation of the dining experience.
Requirements
  • High School diploma preferred.
  • Previous experience in restaurant, dining hospitality, and/or full-service senior living preferred.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver orders in a timely fashion.
