Tax Senior Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Manager to join our team at RSM US LLP. As a Tax Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading tax planning and compliance projects for our clients, providing expert advice on tax laws and regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead tax planning and compliance projects for clients, including financial statement audits, tax returns, and other tax-related services.
- Provide expert advice on tax laws and regulations, including federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including audit, consulting, and tax services, to deliver high-quality results.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored tax solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations, applying this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in tax planning and compliance, preferably in a public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
This role operates in a professional office environment, with regular use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Travel:This position may require international and domestic travel, with regular travel between all RSM US LLP locations and testing facilities.
Supervisory Responsibility:This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
