Position Summary:
  • The Senior IT Business Process Consultant plays a crucial role in delivering internal program and project management expertise, focusing on process enhancement and standards governance.
  • This role serves as the primary link between enterprise program management and IT.
  • Responsibilities include planning, executing, and implementing initiatives related to program management standards.
  • Facilitates and leads cross-functional project teams to achieve objectives.
  • Develops metrics to assess standard adoption and identifies areas for future enhancements.
  • This position operates in a hybrid model, requiring remote work along with in-office collaboration two days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tasked with creating and executing project management standards and processes in partnership with the enterprise program management team, ensuring relevance to Information Technology.
  • Establishes a community of practice for program and project management, fostering a center of excellence.
  • The Senior IT Business Process Consultant nurtures productive relationships with stakeholders, teams, and leadership, offering recommendations for process improvements and providing expert guidance on program management standards.
  • Leads complex assignments that significantly impact multiple ongoing initiatives, managing associated risks with high visibility.
  • Actively addresses intricate technology challenges within the business unit, focusing on process analysis and proposing solutions. Develops and enforces policies and procedures related to processes and standards.
  • Coordinates comprehensive process and standards solutions for internal stakeholders, ensuring continuous review and adaptation to meet evolving business needs.
  • This is a senior-level role where the incumbent acts as a leading authority in their area for large multi-project programs or departments, contributing to the development of broad strategies.
  • Engages in special projects concerning process audits, compliance, and remediation, serving as a process management lead on collaborative project teams.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8 years of experience in IT business processes.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI.
  • SAFe Agilist certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Experience with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools such as Planisware.
