About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Remediation Geologist to join our team in Northern California. As a Remediation Geologist, you will be responsible for performing business development within the Oil & Gas and Industrial/Commercial Sectors for environmental remediation, engineering, and related services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform business development and sales activities to expand our environmental consulting business in California and the West.
  • Oversee and mentor staff- and project-level geologists and scientists.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports and proposals.
  • Interact with senior-level employees and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality results.
  • Travel to project sites as needed to execute project goals and business development initiatives.
Requirements
  • BS/BA in Geology, Geoscience, or a related science field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in environmental remediation and sales.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work with, mentor, and direct engineers and technicians.
  • Experience with CERCLA, RCRA, DTSC, Water Board, and other CalEPA programs.
  • Consulting experience with petroleum contamination cleanups and chlorinated solvent contamination remediation.
  • Ability to pass a HAZWOPER physical and wear a tight-fitting respirator.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Geology or a related field.
  • Essential professional licensure/certification.
  • 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) certification.
