Job Title: Surgical Technologist - ENT, Plastics, Eyes Specialist

At HexaQuEST Health, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in the Operating Room. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the Operating Room for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Assist the surgeon during surgery, providing support and maintaining a safe environment for the patient.
  • Care for the patient during surgery, monitoring their vital signs and responding to any changes.
  • Care for the instruments and supplies used in surgery, ensuring they are properly cleaned and maintained.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of scrub experience or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • Experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.
  • Prior traveler experience highly preferred.
  • BLS - must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY.
  • Successfully completed a surgical technologist program or two years experience in Surgical Technologist role may be considered in lieu of completion of program.
Working Conditions:

Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization.

Location:

University Hospital, 600 Highland Ave, Madison, WI 53792

Shifts:

36 - 40 hr/week, Monday - Friday, 3x12's, 7a -7p with call and weekend rotation.
