Responsibilities
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing and administering radioactive isotopes to produce high-quality images for physicians to diagnose diseases. You will work closely with patients in various medical settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and surgery, while maintaining patient confidentiality and handling challenging situations with professionalism.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and be a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program. You must also be board certified in nuclear medicine technology and maintain current licensure. Additionally, you should demonstrate flexibility in response to varying workloads and be registered as a certified nuclear medicine technologist (CNMT) with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Benefits and Compensation
This part-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $55.56 and is eligible for benefits. You will work varied hours Monday through Friday, with the possibility of weekend shifts based on departmental needs.
