About the Role

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Mayo Clinic, you will work directly with patients in a variety of medical settings, such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, and surgery. This role requires flexibility to work varied hours Monday - Friday, based on department staffing needs. Work areas have 8 and/or 10 hour shifts available. This is a supplemental position, all shifts will be as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Works directly with patients in a variety of medical settings, such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, and surgery.
  • May be required to work on-call shifts including holidays and weekends.
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and be a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program.
  • Must be board certified in nuclear medicine technology and maintain current licensure.
  • Must be registered as a certified nuclear medicine technologist (CNMT) with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and maintain current licensure.
  • If position requires rotations to PET, must be registered with the NMTCB as a Positron Emission Tomography technologist or obtain certification within eighteen months of employment, and maintain current licensure.
