GENERAL FUNCTION

The Optical Sales Consultant is tasked with delivering an outstanding optical experience for our guests by merging their expertise, experiences, and personality with the guests' needs and our premium fashion brands.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Achieve sales targets and company objectives by nurturing existing customer relationships and establishing new ones.
  • Utilize optical prescriptions to suggest specific lenses and coatings.
  • Assist customers in selecting frames and align them with optical measurements to provide the ideal vision solution.
  • Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as necessary.
  • Actively contribute to a positive store environment, building strong professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
  • Maintain the store's appearance and take initiative to keep displays and inventory organized and appealing.
  • Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service.
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and basic math skills.
  • Adaptability to new technology and changes with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to drive sales through effective sales techniques and accountability for results, with a strong desire to meet goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a dynamic environment.
